About THE TRAINER

Marnie Forestieri Zettler

Childcare Entrepreneur, Author, and Curriculum Developer

Hi, I’m Marnie! My mission has always been to empower others and create meaningful impact in childcare and early education.

I entered the field during a recession as a franchisee, gaining firsthand experience in overcoming economic challenges and building resilient businesses. Over time, I’ve served as a teacher, director, and owner—roles that gave me a well-rounded view of both the operational and educational sides of childcare.

A key milestone was transforming an independent center into a franchise, where I learned what truly drives mission-based business success.

Today, I lead Young Innovators Academy, focused on preparing the next generation of childcare entrepreneurs to build purpose-driven centers. I’m passionate about curriculum development and, as a Gryphon House author, I create tools that spark creativity in young learners.

With deep expertise in early education and entrepreneurship, I’m committed to supporting future leaders and strengthening the systems that serve children and families.

Disclosure Statement – Marnie Forestieri

Marnie Forestieri serves as the CEO of Young Innovators Academy and is a published author with Gryphon House, a company that produces early childhood education resources. While this training program may include references to educational frameworks and tools developed by Young Innovators Academy or featured in Ms. Forestieri’s published work, it will also explore alternative models, strategies, and resources from across the industry. The intent is to provide participants with a comprehensive and balanced perspective on best practices in early childhood education and business leadership.

Before pursuing my Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education, I seriously considered opening my PreSchool/Child Care Center. Unfortunately, there were no ideal courses or even a handbook that I could find to give me the confidence to go forward in achieving this professional goal, so instead, I entered a career as a Kindergarten teacher. Although I have enjoyed this path, I also have always wondered about the missed opportunity of my "lost dream". . . until now! With this book as my most significant resource, I am empowered by the incredible and detailed information within the pages of The Basics of Starting a Child Care Business. I feel completely prepared and guided in a step by step format to not only follow through with my past goals, but to also have the assurance that I WILL succeed by following the expertise and recommendations of this author! I can't begin to express how much I appreciate Marnie Forestieri sharing her own personal journey as a way to give back to others, especially those of us who have such strong desires to be accomplished entrepreneurs in the field of Early Childhood Growth & Development. My sincere thanks and gratitude for the gift of this exceptionally written book, organized in a way that is very easy to follow and understand! Never give up on your dreams!!
FINALLY, Exactly What I Need To Succeed!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the In-Person Training Mandatory

No, it’s not mandatory.

The in-person Accelerator Kickoff Event is completely optional—but highly recommended.

We offer it as an immersive experience to deepen your learning and jumpstart your transformation. You’ll have the opportunity to:

✅ Visit our schools in action

✅ Talk directly with team members and leaders

✅ Participate in hands-on workshops

✅ Connect with other like-minded childcare professionals

While all course content is available virtually, the in-person event gives you a behind-the-scenes look at real systems in motion—and inspiration you can’t get through a screen.

The start date of the accelerator begins August 14, Can I start the training earlier

You don’t have to wait to get to work.

As soon as you sign up, you’ll get instant access to your first training modules, downloadable tools, and prep materials—so you can begin laying the foundation for your turnaround strategy right away.

Your transformation starts now—not later.

How much time do I need to commit each week

We recommend setting aside 2 to 3 hours per week to get the most out of the Turnaround Accelerator.

This includes:

✅ Watching the weekly learning module

✅ Completing action steps and using the provided tools (1–2 hours)

✅ Attending live coaching calls or watching the replays (1 hour)

✅ Engaging in the community or participating in hot seats (optional, 30–60 minutes)

You can move at your own pace, but consistent weekly engagement leads to the best results—and real change inside your childcare center.

Why is it recommended to participate in the community

Participating in the community is one of the most valuable parts of the program. While the curriculum gives you the roadmap, the community gives you real-world insights, encouragement, and accountability. You'll connect with other educators and entrepreneurs who are navigating similar challenges, learn from their experiences, and stay motivated by their progress. It’s a space to ask questions, get support between coaching calls, share ideas, and celebrate wins—big and small. Starting or growing a childcare business can feel overwhelming, but with a strong network behind you, you’ll never feel like you’re doing it alone.
